Who We Are
Dakota Excavating Inc. began as a father and son team based in Zionsville, Indiana. Mike and David Kail started the business in 1999 primarily focusing efforts on residential excavation for new homes as well as remodeling projects for customers in the Central Indiana area. Around 2017 Mike decided to step away from the business to pursue other dreams. At that time David created a new vision for the future of Dakota Excavating Inc. This new business plan included expanding the business and providing additional services, including commercial excavating projects, hauling services, and so much more. Today Dakota Excavating Inc. utilizes the latest technologies for our customers, both in the bidding process as well as in the field.Dakota Excavating Inc. is focused on providing high quality and reliable excavating services to our customers. Our team will work with you from start to finish.
